Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
  • 1 can (14 oz) artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 can (4 oz) black olives, drained
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Thaw the frozen spinach in the microwave for about 2 minutes, then squeeze out as much water as possible using a clean kitchen towel or paper towels.
  3. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Stir until smooth.
  4. Fold in the squeezed spinach, chopped artichoke hearts, mozzarella, Parmesan, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Mix until evenly distributed.
  5. Spoon the mixture into a greased 8×8 inch or 9-inch pie dish and spread into an even layer.
  6. In a small bowl, mash the black olives with a fork until they form a coarse paste. Add the olive oil and stir until spreadable.
  7. Spoon the olive paste into a small piping bag or a zip-top bag with the corner snipped off. Pipe a small circle in the center of the dip, then pipe concentric circles around it, spacing them about an inch apart. Use a toothpick or knife tip to drag lines from the center outward through the circles, creating a web effect. Wipe the toothpick clean between each drag.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown around the edges.
  9. Let the dip cool for 5 minutes before serving. Serve warm with crusty bread, tortilla chips, crackers, or veggie sticks.

Notes

Squeeze spinach thoroughly to avoid watery dip. Soften cream cheese properly for smooth blending. Don’t overbake to prevent cheese separation. Clean toothpick lines for a clean web design. Can be assembled (without olive web) up to 24 hours in advance. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Reheat in oven at 350°F for 10-15 minutes or microwave in 30-second bursts.
