These crispy honey garlic salmon bites are quick, easy, and perfect for busy weeknights. Cubed salmon is air-fried to golden perfection, then tossed in a sticky-sweet honey garlic glaze for an irresistible meal ready in under 20 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb salmon fillet, skin removed
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • Optional: red pepper flakes (for heat)

Instructions

  1. Pat the salmon fillet dry with paper towels. Cut into 1-inch cubes, keeping them uniform in size.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the salmon cubes with cornstarch, salt, and pepper. Toss gently until each piece is lightly coated.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
  4. Lightly spray or brush the air fryer basket with oil. Arrange the salmon cubes in a single layer, ensuring they are not touching. Work in batches if needed.
  5. Air fry at 400°F for 5 minutes. Carefully flip each piece using tongs, then cook for another 3-4 minutes until golden brown and flaky (internal temperature of 145°F).
  6. While the salmon cooks, whisk together honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic in a small bowl.
  7. Transfer the cooked salmon to a clean bowl. Pour the honey garlic mixture over the top and toss gently to coat.
  8. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced green onions. Add red pepper flakes if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

Pat the salmon very dry for maximum crispiness. Do not glaze before cooking to avoid burning the honey. Serve immediately for best texture; leftovers can be reheated in the air fryer at 350°F for 2-3 minutes.
