Fresh Refreshing Cucumber Mint Detox Water Recipe for Easy Hydration Boost

A simple and refreshing detox water made with fresh cucumber slices and mint leaves, perfect for hydration and a crisp, clean flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 1012 fresh mint leaves, gently bruised
  • 1 quart (approximately 950 ml) cold filtered water
  • Ice cubes (optional)
  • Lemon or lime slices or wedge (optional)

Instructions

  1. Rinse the cucumber and mint leaves under cold water and pat dry gently.
  2. Slice the cucumber thinly, about 1/8 inch (3 mm) thick.
  3. Gently bruise the mint leaves by pressing lightly with the back of a knife or muddler to release oils without tearing.
  4. In a pitcher, add the cucumber slices and bruised mint leaves. Add lemon or lime slices if using.
  5. Pour in 1 quart (950 ml) of cold filtered water and stir gently to mix flavors.
  6. Place the pitcher in the refrigerator for at least 1 to 2 hours to chill and infuse.
  7. Serve over ice cubes, garnished with a sprig of mint or a curl of cucumber peel if desired.

Notes

Use fresh, firm cucumbers and vibrant mint leaves for best flavor. Do not over-muddle mint to avoid bitterness. Chill for at least 1 hour for optimal infusion. Consume within 24 hours for freshness. Optional additions include lemon/lime slices, sparkling water, or a splash of honey/agave for sweetness.
